| Read India Pledge is an initiative to mobilize the population of the country to back a cause which needs attention, acknowledgment and support at the most serious level. |

For every pledge taken, SBI Life Insurance will make a token donation to Pratham’s Read India program which works towards the same cause. |

The cause that we are backing is the cause of the basic ability to read in children, as we believe that it is the least that we can offer the next generation of this country as a platform to build their dreams on. Through this campaign we ask people to pledge to support this cause and thereby pledge to support every child in India to help him or her fulfill their dream eventually. Hence, the name

This initiative will be fronted by Radio Mirchi RJs who would lead the pledge campaign by being among the first to take the pledge and also visit the Pratham centres and dedicate time towards the cause.
People who would like to get associated with the cause in an active manner would be put in touch with Pratham and thus given an avenue to direct the intentions well. |

| The campaign spans across three weeks across which we try and sensitize the population towards the cause and urge them to come forward and join the movement in pledging to support the cause. |
